Natural Treasures Tours: The Great Ocean Road Specialists.

Welcome to the website of Australian Natural Treasures Touring Pty. Ltd.

This is the website we have used for many years as Natual Treasures Tours and will remain active while we have a new website built for our new company Australian Natural Treasures Touring.

We are really excited about our small business growing up, changing name slightly, getting a new partner and offering some more of our thoughtfully crafted extended journeys. We encourage you to follow our journey as we progress through this exciting period. Our new, stunning and 'easy-to-use' website will be launched near the end of February 2015 and will have a wide range of extended tours of the Great Ocean Road and some new and exciting destinations.

We hope you find out all you need to about touring the Great Ocean Road and beyond. Please contact us directly if you cannot find exactly what you are after.

Great New Restaurant

"Chris' at Beacon Point"

For all of our Great Ocean Road extended touring, anything that spends a night on the Great Ocean Road, you now get to experience the best of culinary delights available. We have moved our dinner location form the Apollo Bay Hotel to Chris' at Beacon Point. Chris's has been the highest regarded restaurant in the region for some time and is one of very few in the region awarded a chefs hat. This move is considerable jump in standards but based on such great feedback we believe we have made a good decision. This dining experience now sits well with the other great dining experiences we enjoy on the extra night of our three days tours either at 'The Commodore' or 'Royal Mail Hotel'. We hope you can come along and enjoy this beautiful dining experience on one of our carefully crafted journeys.

New destinations to consider for a small group journey

1. Why not travel into regional Victoria and follow a 2 day Gourmet Food and Wine Trail around the Macedon Ranges and Daylesford

2. Who has seen Alpine Victoria in style? Let our expert guides show you some amazing views and enjoy the luxury we have sourced for you

3. Is your car fit for the outback? Let our vehicles take the bumps and dust and get out there with us to see the REAL AUSTRALIA!!!!

4. Venture down to Gippsland to explore the beautiful and serene lakes and mountains the South East of Victoria

5. Of course you can fly from Melbourne to Adelaide.....but what will you be missing?

6. A journey should be about diversity and a 3 day trip of the Great Ocean Road and Grampians NP is incredibly diverse. The coast and the mountains are so close and so dramatic. To add some more flavour and another day to the journey you can get a history fix at Sovereign Hill, Ballarat.

The Great Ocean Road is an amazing coastal drive through an incredibly spectacular and diverse part of Victoria, Australia. To explore the full extent of this region it is a 600km round trip from Melbourne that requires more than a 1-day tour. For this reason we have run 2 day Great Ocean Road tours and 3 day Great Ocean Road tours extending into the Grampians or on to Adelaide for over 12 years and believe we have found the best way to relax and discover all of its beauty.

Our personalised, small group tours (maximum 10 passengers) of the Great Ocean Road take a relaxed pace and avoid the crowds. Our small group tours focus on providing great experiences discovering the wildlife, natural beauty and history.

Our range of Great Ocean Road tours provides you with a unique personalised experience. We have sourced stunning accommodation and great food to compliment our friendly and enthusiastic guides and extensive itineraries. Our treasure chests full of interesting written material and artefacts add to the rich and fascinating tales conveyed to our small groups while traveling along the spectacular coastline of the Great Ocean Road.

We also have a range of day tours to other places special to us. Although these may be the usual attractions we have special itineraries that offer our small groups a unique, personalised experience.

We hope you can find the time to discover the Natural Treasures of the Great Ocean Road or another Victorian attraction on one of our small group tours.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Sue K from Huddersfield, United Kingdom.......

On our recent holiday to Australia, one of the highlights was the three day Adelaide to Melbourne tour we took with Natural Treasures. We were privileged to have as our driver/guide Jeremy, one of the company's proprietors, who was extremely knowledgeable and informative and struck the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. Five passengers in a ten seater vehicle meant we had plenty of room to travel in comfort and facilitated social interaction both en route and at the various coffee/ meal/ overnight stops. The sightseeing stops were carefully chosen and, where possible, carefully timed to avoid the crowds, which made them all the more special. The overnight accommodation at Mount Gambier and Skenes Creek was of an excellent standard, as were the included breakfasts and dinners. Natural Treasures certainly go the extra mile to ensure they provide customers with an unforgettable experience and we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to travel the Great Ocean Road and beyond, from Adelaide to Melbourne or vice versa. Thanks Jeremy for a memorable trip. Visited February 2014

Gerry D from Alberta, Canada.......

We took the 1/2 day Melbourne Sights tour one day and 2 days later took the 1 day Great Ocean Road tour with Jeremy on both occasions. Can't say enough. He knows his stuff and gave us great insights into Melbourne and on the Great Ocean Road tour. We went places and saw things that you would never see on your own or on a larger group tour and the experiences will live with us for a lifetime. We saw kangaroos in the wild from as close as 5 feet and at one time I had 5 Crimson Rosetta's (colourful red and green birds) nestling on my body and head. We had a magnificent lunch at the Bay Leaf Cafe in Apollo Bay and countless other experiences that I can't recount here. These tours and our tour guide deserve a score of 11 out of 10. WOW!!!
